Genpact seeking a skilled and experienced Software Consultant – Site Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions.

Job Designation :  Software Consultant  – Site Reliability Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

1. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
2. Sound knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
3. Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
4. Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
5. Strong experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation, management, and troubleshooting.
6.  Familiarity with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
7. Knowledge of GIT version control and experience with CI/CD practices and tools.
8. Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and orchestration.
9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
11. Good Communication and leadership skills.

Job Description :

This role requires expertise in AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, GIT CI/CD, and Docker to ensure scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud environments.

1. Develop and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
2. Utilize Terraform to automate and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring consistency and scalability across environments.
3. Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GIT to streamline application deployment and integration processes.
4. Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, optimizing performance and reliability.
5. Work closely with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing workflows and ensure smooth deployments.
6. Provide expert-level support for cloud infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions.
7. Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
8. Implement and enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for cloud environments.
