Job Designation : Software Engineer

Qualification :  Master’s Degree

Experience : Freshers / 0 – 3 years

Skill Set :

  1. Sound knowledge of programming languages C, C++, JAVA, JSP, HTML and Python.
  2. Mainframe skills in COBOL, JCL, zOS Connect, DB2, SYNCSORT & and an Analysis aptitude.
  3. Familiar with software development life cycle and testing.
  4. Working knowledge of industry practice and standards.
  5. Experience in programming/debugging used in business applications.
  6. Must be proactive, enthusiastic, flexible, and results driven.

Job Description : 

American Express building MARS – simple abbreviation that stands for Modern Accounts Receivable System, but the name symbolizes the scale and ambition of this effort. This is a gigantic effort to build a brand-new global AR platform that transforms many aspects of work at American Express across technology and business. We are building the platform using an event driven micro services architecture.

  1. Work closely with product managers and product owners
  2. Work closely with a team of engineers to design, build, test and deploy.
  3. Actively participate in the various engineering forums to learn from others as well as educate others.
  4. Contribute meaningfully toward the continuous improvement of platform and practices.
  5. Stays informed on the latest trends in the industry and at American Express and adopt them as needed Familiar with Agile development methodologies.
  6. Communicates effectively with Technical, Operational, and Business colleagues.
