Finastra looking for fresher Associate Software Engineer with excellent knowledge in C,C++, OOPS Concepts and awareness of software engineering processes in design, code, testing etc.

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

  1. Awareness of software engineering processes in design, code, testing etc.
  2. Excellent knowledge in C,C++, OOPS Concepts.
  3. Good in Database concepts especially Oracle 10g or higher.
  4. Good knowledge of Linux.
  5. Middleware knowledge preferably Tuxedo.
  6. Ability to work under less supervision.
  7. Good Analytical and Logical skills..
  8. Be a team player
  9. Ggood verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description : 

  1. Templates and STL
  2. Exception Handling and Overloading
  3. Containment and Inheritance
  4. Multiple Inheritance
  5. Run Time Type Identification (RTTI)
  6. Understanding of the operating systems and how they work:
  7. What is the difference between virtual storage and real memory?
  8. Usage of Unix commands. ( ps pstack pmap vmstat iostat netstat ).
  9. NLS – what is local encoding, what is Unicode. Different types of Unicode.
  10. Little Endian and Big Endian. Where do we need to pay attention?
  11. MQ – usage of MQ commands. The structure of MQ messages. Different types of MQ messages (String Binary). Conversion of MQ messages.
  12. Oracle.  Using efficient indexes. Identifying distinctive value columns.
  13. Understanding explain plans, AWR reports.
  14. The ability to work independently, and acquire the required knowledge by searching the web efficiently.
  15. Memory management & tools – understanding memory leaks and memory violations (segmentation faults).
  16. Understanding the concept of transactions.
  17. Web servers and browsers.  What is working on client side and what on server side?
  18. Corba – what is IDL. How does the CORBA protocol works?
